Entering it, your senses are treated to an array of mouthwatering scents, a symphony of flavors from every corner of the world. Picture it as a culinary world tour—with Bibimbap and Pho representing Asia, Western-style BBQ steak offering a taste of the West, and Quesadilla from Latin America. Every week, this dynamic cafeteria unveils a uniquely crafted menu, ensuring a delightful surprise for the diverse palates within KDI School's international community.

The cafeteria is  open and ready to welcome for dinner, in addition to lunch, all week long. And the added advantage? It's pocket-friendly, with prices comfortably below KRW 5000. Whether you prefer a relaxed dine-in experience or a speedy takeaway, the Food for Thought Lounge seamlessly accommodates your busy schedule.

The wonderful team behind the delicious meals at the Food for Thought Lounge plays a crucial role in making dining experiences magical.Chef Jun, who joined us when the cafeteria opened in 2019, shared his experience collaborating with the establishment;notably,he highlighted the enriching experience of working alongside individuals from the disability community—a testament to the school's commitment to inclusivity and its participation in a program aimed at fostering diversity in the workplace.In his role, crafting an impressive 100-200 plates per day, Chef Jun not only oversees the preparation of all the food but also curates a diverse menu tailored to the school's requirements.Chef Jun shared, "Remarkably, my team and I collaborate seamlessly, each contributing our utmost to foster a positive and enjoyable dining ambiance at the Food for Thought Lounge. A standout favorite among our students is the steak, a dish that I take immense pride in crafting as it brings joy to many of our students"

The cafe stands out for its inclusive approach, catering to diverse taste buds and offering not only a variety of preferences but also halal food. This ensures that every student, regardless of their cultural or religious background, can enjoy a meal resonating with their beliefs, fostering a sense of home. Afifah Wulandari, an Indonesian student, highlights the cafeteria's halal food options, mentioning the challenge of finding such choices in Sejong. This commitment enriches the dining experience, exemplifying the cafeteria's dedication to meeting diverse needs, making it a convenient and reasonable choice for the community.
