[2025 Summer] National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute(NDTI) Field Trip (July 11)

Dear KDI School Students,

We are delighted to inform you that our next field trip for the 2025 Summer semester will be at National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute (NDTI).

NDTI has been positioning itself as the best education and training institute in Korea in the field of disaster safety and civil defense and emergency preparedness. In the midst of facing a variety of unexpected disasters in our daily life such as earthquake disasters, fire accidents and etc., this field trip would be a great opportunity to get a specialized education and training for safeguarding the lives and properties of the citizens against disasters, safety accidents and security threats as foreign government officials and private professionals.

- Date & Time: July 11(Fri.), 08:30 – 17:00

- Venue: National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute (NDTI)  in Gong-ju

- Participants: Up to 30 international students* 

 * Please note that priority will be given to students who have not participated in previous field trips. 

** Up to 3-4 students for each country will be allowed to participate in the field trip to ensure an equal share of the limited seats for the field trip. Additionally, each student may attend the field trip a maximum of twice per semester(except for the new students sejong city field trip) to make sure everyone has a fair chance to join the school field trip, which means that the registration status is subject to change. We hope for your kind understanding on this matter :)

- Participation fee: free of charge

- Remarks

1) A penalty fee of 20,000 KRW will be charged for no-show on the day

2) RSVP on MIS: Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

- Schedule (Kindly double check the departure time.)

- Application Date: June 27(Fri.) - July 2(Wed.) on MIS

* Cancellation must be made by July 2(Wed.)

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click on '[2025 Summer] National Civil Defense and Disaster Management Training Institute(NDTI) Field Trip (July 11)'

6. 1) Please write a comment if you have any dietary restrictions

2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event
