Dear KDIS students,
We are seeking for motivated students interested in modern and contemporary Korean history, politics, culture, and Korea's development experience. Selected students will serve as Research Assistants (RAs) for Korea’s development experience content production. They will participate in the full schedule of the 「2026 Korean Studies Summer School」 organized by Freie Universität Berlin, engage with students of Korean Studies from Europe, and contribute to the planning and production of content on Korea’s development experience.
□ Recruitment Overview
- Position: Research Assistant for Content Development on Korea's Development Experience
- Activity Period: August 3 (Mon.) – October 2 (Fri.), 2026
- Eligibility: Current or on-leave KDI School students
- Responsibilities: Plan and produce content on Korea’s development experience based on participation in the 「2026 Korean Studies Summer School」
- Support Provided: Waiver of the summer school participation fee
※ No separate remuneration will be provided for the RA position. The Summer School participation fee (KRW 1,400,000) will be waived for selected RAs.
□ Summer School Program Overview
- Program Title: Korean Studies Summer School 2026
- Theme: From Open Ports to Korean Waves: 150 Years Since the Treaty of Ganghwa
- Program Period: August 18 (Tue) – August 26 (Wed), 2026
- Location: Seoul, Incheon, Ganghwa, Yeoju
- Language: English
□ Responsibilities
- Attend all Summer School activities, including lectures, field trips, and academic exchange sessions.
- Develop educational content on Korea's development experience based on field experiences during the program.
- Submit a final report and the completed content deliverables by the end of the RA appointment period.
* Detailed guidelines on content topics, format, quantity, and submission deadlines will be provided separately.

- Accommodation and meals throughout the Summer School program
- Transportation, admission fees, and other expenses related to field trips
(Participants may be responsible for a small fee for certain cultural activities.)

2026 한국발전경험 콘텐츠 개발 RA 모집
안녕하세요, KDI국제정책대학원 국제협력팀입니다.
KDI국제정책대학원 국제협력팀에서 한국발전경험 콘텐츠 개발 Research Assistant(RA)를 모집합니다. 선발된 RA는 2026년 베를린자유대학이 주관하는 「2026 Korean Studies Summer School」에 참가할 수 있는 기회를 얻어 유럽 지역 한국학 전공 학생들과 교류하고, 강의 및 현장학습에서 얻은 경험을 토대로 한국발전경험 콘텐츠 기획·제작을 진행합니다. 한국 근현대사, 정치, 문화 등을 국제적 시각에서 이해하고 이를 콘텐츠화하는데 관심있는 학생들의 많은 지원 바랍니다.

- 모집 분야: 한국발전경험 콘텐츠 개발 RA
- 활동 기간: 2026. 8. 3.(월) ~ 10. 2.(금)
- 지원 자격: KDI School 재학생 및 휴학생
- 주요 역할: 「2026 Korean Studies Summer School」 참여 경험을 바탕으로 한국발전경험 관련 콘텐츠 기획 및 제작
- 제공 사항: 여름학교 참가비 면제
※ RA 활동에 대한 보수는 여름학교 참가비 140만원 면제로 대체

- RA 활동 종료 시 활동 결과보고서 및 콘텐츠 산출물 제출
* 콘텐츠 세부 주제, 형식, 제작 수량 및 제출기한은 별도 안내 예정
□ 지원 사항
- 여름학교 기간 중 숙박 및 식사 제공
- 현장학습 관련 교통비, 입장료 등 지원
- 일부 문화체험 프로그램의 경우 소액의 개인 부담 발생 가능
