🌏 Field Trip to Seoul: Global Knowledge Exchange & Development Center (GKEDC)

Discover how Korea transformed from a developing country into a global economic powerhouse. 

This immersive field trip offers a unique opportunity to explore Korea's economic and industrial development, 

understand its key growth drivers, and reflect on development experiences in your own country.

🚌 Departure Information

 - Date: September 18, 2026 (Friday)

 - Departure: 7:30 AM

 - Arrival back in Sejong: Around 6:00 PM

 - Meeting Point: At the crosswalk in front of Dormitory Buildings 101 and 102

 - Participation is limited to 30 students (first-come, first-served).

 - This field trip is primarily intended for newly admitted students, and priority will be given accordingly. 

    Students who have already participated in this field trip previously are not eligible to apply again. 

    Registration status may be adjusted based on this. Thank you for your understanding.

📌 Program Overview (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

10:00 – 11:30 AM: Introduction to GKEDC & docent-led exhibition tour (Economic & Industrial Development, Future Innovation Halls)

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Lunch

1:00 – 3:00 PM: Special lecture (Key Drivers of Korea's Economic Development) & group activity/presentations on development drivers of your home country

3:00 – 4:00 PM: Free exploration time

⚠ Important Notice

 - This field trip is free of charge. Transportation and lunch will be provided by the School.

 - Cancellation after September 14 or no-show on the day of the trip will result in a KRW 20,000 penalty fee.

 - Please check your class schedule before applying, as absences for field trips are not excused under school policy.
