Greetings from the International Cooperation Division. 

We would like to invite KDI School’s international students to participate in the G20 Global Leadership Face-to-Face (F2F) Program to be held from August 23-30, 2021. The program consists of online lectures, site visits, and a short trip to Jeju, Busan, and Gyeongju. Students who participate in the program will be provided with hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation for the entire week.

 

Who can apply

International students enrolled at KDI School who are currently taking Master Degree courses and students who will stay in Korea until Aug 31.

 

How to apply

Please note that once you are selected as a participant, you are required to complete several online learning sessions and then submit a Reaction Paper between July 5(Mon) – July 30(Fri). There are a total of eight sessions, and the duration of each session is about 60-90 minutes. Please refer to the attached session agenda for more details.

 

The reaction paper will include your thoughts and reactions to the lectures, with questions like “What is your key take-away from each lecture, and how does it apply (or not apply) to your local context?” Please note that these papers are not meant to be research-level papers but instead are to ensure that you have taken the sessions and understand their learning objectives. To be eligible to participate in the F2F program, the selected participants must submit the paper within the deadline specified below.

*Note: Please be advised that once you have been selected as a participant, you must be completely free of any obligations or responsibilities throughout the program so that you can attend the program’s itinerary in full. If you fail to attend the official activities (including field trips) without a reasonable excuse and/or prior notice during the F2F program, it will result in an automatic cancellation of the Certificate of Completion issued at the end of the program. If you decide to cancel your participation after your confirmation to join the F2F program, you will be held responsible for any fees and costs incurred.
