๐ข Field Trip & Participation Notice for KDI School Students
KDI School students are invited to the 2025 Knowledge Exchange Days (KED) organized by the KDI Global Knowledge Exchange and Development Center (GKEDC).
This year’s KED focuses on climate change, bringing together representatives from MDBs, governments, and the private sector to discuss climate action and explore strategies for greater impact.
The program includes conference sessions, training and site visits, and networking opportunities to foster learning, collaboration, and including a career dialogue with MDBs: Insights and Guidance in International Organizations.

๐ Day 1 – Thursday, November 6
- Departure: 6:30 AM from KDI School
- Conclusion: 5:00 PM
- Return to Sejong: Before 7:00 PM
Program Highlights:
- Attend the KED Conference on “Integrating Policy, Technology, and Finance to Scale Up Climate Action Impact.”
- Engage with distinguished speakers from multilateral development banks (ADB, World Bank, GCF, AfDB), governments, and private sector organizations.

๐น Option 1: Full-Day Program (Site Visit + KED Youth Empathy Stage)
- Departure:7:00 AM from Sejong
- Conclusion: 8:00 PM
- Return to Sejong: Around 10:00 PM
KED Site Visit Program (7:00–15:00)
- Sudokwon Landfill Management Corporation (Incheon, Seoul Metropolitan Area)
- Explore Korea’s advanced climate technologies in waste management and the circular economy, including landfill management, leachate treatment, gas-to-energy conversion, bioenergy recovery, resource recycling, and greenhouse gas reduction.
Youth Empathy Stage (YES) (15:00–20:00)
- KED Talk Career Dialogue with MDBs: Insights for future professionals (Moderator: Prof. Jie-Ae Sohn, Ewha Womans University; 6 speakers including WB and AFDB officials)
- KED Play Board game activity on carbon neutrality and carbon credits
- KED Night
- Performances: Korean traditional percussion, band, vocal, dance, and runway show
- K-pop: Brave Girls, Yuju (Girl Friend), Dragon Pony.

- Participation is limited and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Meals and transportation will be provided.
- Please check your class schedule before applying, as absences for field trips are not excused under school policy.
- A no-show penalty of 20,000 KRW will be applied.
