๐ Summer Semester Field Trip: KRIHS & KLRI (July 16, 2026)
KDI School invites international students to a field trip to two of Korea's leading government-funded research institutes in Sejong:
the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) and the Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI).
This program offers a valuable opportunity to learn how Korea designs its national land and
urban development policies and builds its legislative and legal frameworks — directly from the experts who research them.

Date & Time: Thursday, July 16, 2026, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Venue: KRIHS & KLRI (Sejong)
Departure Time: 9:30 AM
Meeting Point: At the crosswalk in front of Dormitory Buildings 101 and 102

Capacity: 30 students (first-come, first-served)
Students who have already participated in 2 or more field trips this summer semester are not eligible to apply

๐ What You Will Experience
KRIHS: A lecture on Korea's national land and urban development policy experience, covering areas such as comprehensive national planning, housing and land policy, transportation, and smart cities
KLRI: A lecture on Korea's legislative development experience and the institute's key research areas, followed by a guided tour of the institute
๐ Schedule Highlights
09:30 – Departure from KDI School
10:00 – Arrival & Lecture at KRIHS
11:30 – Lunch
13:00 – Transfer & Tour at KLRI
14:00 – Lecture at KLRI
15:30 – Return to KDI School

- Cancellation after July 13 or no-show will incur a KRW 20,000 penalty fee
- Lunch, transportation, and program fees will be fully covered by the school
- Please check your class schedule before applying. Absences due to field trips are not excused under school policy
