2026 Jeju International Future Generation Forum – Call for Participants

We are pleased to share an opportunity for international students to apply for the 2026 Jeju International Future Generation Forum (JIFF), organized by UNITAR CIFAL Jeju and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

Under the theme “Reimagining Resilience from Jeju: Youth Co-Creating Sustainable Futures,” the forum will bring together young people from Jeju, its sister and friendship cities, other countries, and international students studying in Korea. Participants will explore global and local challenges related to resilience, share experiences from their communities, and develop practical proposals and action plans through discussions, field learning, and collaborative workshops.

• Selection: Participation is subject to a selection process, and approximately three applicants are expected to be selected.
• Participants: The Forum will bring together up to 50 young people, including international students studying in Korea.

The programme will include expert lectures, youth dialogue, field learning activities, group discussions, and co-design workshops focusing on social, economic, environmental, technological, and peace-related dimensions of resilience.

Participant Support

Selected participants will be provided with round-trip airfare, three nights’ accommodation, and meals during the official programme. Accommodation will be provided from November 17 to November 20, 2026.

Students who are interested in sustainable development, global issues, youth engagement, and international networking are highly encouraged to apply.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee participation, as final participants will be selected through a screening process.
