[2025 Summer] Global Knowledge Exchange and Development Center(GKEDC) Field Trip (June.13)

Dear KDI School Students,

We are delighted to inform you that our next field trip for the 2025 Summer semester will be at the Global Knowledge Exchange and Development Center(GKEDC).

GKEDC seeks to objectively study the process of Korea's economic development and to promote the welfare of mankind by sharing the knowledge with the global society.

As a country that has transformed itself from being an aid-recipient country to a donor country, Korea holds an important place in global cooperation through knowledge sharing.

We hope that this field trip will be a meaningful opportunity for our students to experience and learn from Korea’s 70-year socio-economic development.

- Date & Time: June 13th (Fri.), 07:50 – 18:30 (subject to change depending on circumstances)

- Venue: (Seoul) Global Knowledge Exchange & Development Center (GKEDC)

- Participants: Up to 40 international students

* The GKEDC field trip is a valuable opportunity to learn about the history of Korea’s economic development.

Therefore, we plan to organize GKEDC field trips regularly each semester and strongly encourage every student to participate at least ONCE. (For reference, field trips are typically held on Friday.)

*Priority will be given to students who have not previously participated in the GKEDC field trip.

- Participation fee: Free of charge

- Remarks

1) A penalty fee of 20,000 KRW will be charged for no-show on the day

2) RSVP on MIS: Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions (halal, vegetarian, etc.)

- Schedule (Kindly double-check the departure time in advance.)

- Application Date: May.29(Thur) - June.9(Mon.) on MIS

* Cancellation must be made by June.9(Mon.)

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click on ‘[2025 Summer] Global Knowledge Exchange and Development Center(GKEDC) Field Trip (June.13)’

6. 1) Please write a comment if you have any dietary restrictions

2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event
