The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with financial support from the Knowledge Partnership Korea Fund for Technology and Innovation (KPK), is launching the Korea-LAC Tech Corps Program. This initiative aims to promote knowledge transfer from the Republic of Korea to the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region by providing Korean young professionals with the opportunity to contribute and gain valuable professional and cultural experience.
Under this program, Korean professionals with expertise in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) will be deployed to selected LAC countries to support ICT-related projects and contribute to the development of ICT-based solutions tailored to the business needs of public agencies and private companies.
Program Overview:
The KTC Program will finance the deployment of Korean professionals (“Korean Tech Corps”), who will be hired by the IDB for a period of up to 12 months.

Role and Responsibilities
Participants will:
- Provide technical and/or technological support for the preparation, implementation, and/or monitoring of initiatives tailored to the specific business needs of the IDB’s Partner Institution under its innovation agenda.
- Contribute to ongoing IDB projects aligned with their expertise and the needs of the hosting department.
Employment Details:
