Dear Students,

Applications for Leave of Absence, Extension of Leave of Absence, Reinstatement for Summer 2022 should be submitted through the MIS system within the period indicated below.

□ Application Period: Mar 21 (Mon) - Apr 1(Fri), 2022

       ※ Summer 2022 Course Registration:  Apr 18 (Mon) - Apr 20 (Wed)

       ※ Start of Summer 2022 Term: May 16 (Mon)

□ Procedure

1) Visit KDI School MIS website (http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/)

2) Login using your Student Number as your ID

3) Click the “School Register” button

4) Choose one below and Click it.

  ① “Leave of Absence”(휴학)

  ② “Extension of Leave of Absence”(휴학연장)

  ③ “Reinstatement”(복학)

5) Click “Insert” Button 

6) Scroll down and fill out the form

7) Click “Save” Button

8) Check your request on the list

※ Notice

1. Maximum duration of Leave of Absence: 3 terms in total

2. Students returning from a leave of absence must complete the reinstatement procedure before registering courses for the following term.

3. Students wishing to extend their leave of absence are required to submit an Extension of Leave of Absence application.

4. Students who do not return to the School following their leave of absence, but have not applied for a leave of absence extension, shall be withdrawn from the School automatically, in accordance with School Regulations.

5. Students are not allowed to take a leave of absence in their first semester.

※ Notice for Korean male students:

Training for Reserve Forces cannot be deferred during the Leave of Absence. Please make sure to report the change of academic status to your military unit when you apply for the Leave of Absence. Please note that failure to report within 2 weeks of the change may subject you to a fine of up to KRW 2,000,000 or detention.
