[2023 Summer] IFEZ & KOREA DRONE-UAM EXPO Field Trip (May. 19th)

Dear KDI School Students,

We are delighted to inform you that our first field trip for the 2023 Summer semester will be at IFEZ(Incheon Free Economic Zone) & OREA DRONE-UAM(Urban Air Mobility) EXPO. The Incheon Free Economic Zone is a specially designated area in South Korea that aims to promote international business and trade, which is positioning itself as a global hub for logistics, finance, and tourism in Northeast Asia. Also, the expo will be held on the 17th(Wed) to the 20th(Sat) May 2023 at Incheon Songdo Convensia with the theme of “Drone·UAM changes new daily life, drone transportation & delivery, and leisure sports!” Various drone industry infrastructure and institutional information, UAM technology trends, exhibitions and conferences are held where you can check the latest trends and cutting-edge technologies at a glance.   

We believe that this field trip would be a great opportunity to experience Korea's first Free Economic Zone as an economic and commercial hub, as well as Korea's drones and UAM, which are opening up new possibility for the future :)

- Date & Time: May 19(Fri.), 07:50 – 19:00

- Venue: Songdo Convensia, Incheon

- Participants: Up to 30 international students* 

* As this EXPO is hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(MOLIT) and MOLIT cordially invite our students to this EXPO, those who is public(government) official of the ministry in their country will be prioritized for the registration of this field trip, which means that the registration status is subject to change. We hope for your kind understanding on this matter :)

** Up to 3-4 students for each country will be allowed to participate in the field trip to ensure an equal share of the limited seats for the field trip.

- Participation fee: free of charge

- Remarks

1) Those who have not completed PCR and RAT tests are NOT allowed to participate in this event

2) A penalty fee of 20,000 KRW will be charged for no-show on the day

3) RSVP on MIS: Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

- Application Date: May 3(Wed.) - 10(Wed.) on MIS

* Cancellation must be made by May 10(Wed.)

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click on ‘[2023 Summer] IFEZ & KOREA DRONE-UAM EXPO Field Trip (May. 19th)’

6. 1) Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event
