The Somali Alumni Association convened its annual meeting on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Summer Place Restaurant, bringing members together to strengthen collaboration and reinforce mutual support within the alumni community.

The meeting focused on developing practical strategies to enhance cooperation and alumni engagement. Members emphasized the value of connecting senior and junior alumni, highlighting mentorship and cross-generational professional relationships as key to building a vibrant, supportive network. The alumni also underscored the importance of active participation from newly graduated members in sustaining strong professional and personal ties.

As a next step, alumni discussed supporting KDI School’s admissions process by encouraging qualified candidates to apply, aiming to maintain a strong pipeline of high-caliber Somali applicants. The meeting closed with a shared commitment to continued alumni collaboration and to contributing to Somalia’s public policy and professional development.
