On 6 December 2025, the Mexican alumni community held an orientation gathering with three alumni and one newly admitted student, Ms. Valentina Beltrán (MIPD ’26). The session was designed to provide practical guidance on the academic program, the school environment, and daily life in Korea, while also building an early connection between the new student, KDI School, and the Mexican alumni network. Alumni responded to questions, clarified expectations about school life, and shared personal experiences to help the student prepare for this new chapter.

Alumni also offered helpful tips they wished they had known before departing—such as what clothing to pack, whether to bring medicine from home, and the value of bringing small souvenirs or a national flag. The meeting created a warm and supportive space, helping the student feel welcomed and reassured that she has a community ready to support her throughout her KDI School journey.

In addition, a virtual orientation session was held via Zoom on 10 January 2026 with Ms. Sarai Covarrubias (former Mexican Alumni Representative) and four newly admitted students. As the students were based in different cities and traveling for their flights, meeting in person was not possible. The online session covered the same key topics and practical guidance, answered students’ questions, and introduced the new students to one another as future classmates from Mexico.
