On October 14^th to 16^th, Associate Dean Kwon Jung, MPP Program Chair Jaeun Shin, Professor Booyeol Kim, and Ms. Eunchong Lee from Academic Affairs Division attended the NASPAA (Network of School of Public Policy, Affairs & Administration) Annual Conference held in Brooklyn, New York, United States. The main purpose was to attend sessions and to promote KDI School’s accreditation of NASPAA. There were total of six sessions which participants could talk about NASPAA’s mission and value, its problems and solutions. Professor Shin led the session as a panel with the subject of “Track Question on Data: How Do You Connect Policy Problems with Data Analysis and Use Evidence-Based Approaches to Improve the Education of Students and the Impact of Our Research?.” Also, Associate Dean Jung performed as a member of NASPAA Standards Committee. For the future cooperation, KDI School faculties and staff attended NASPAA Award Luncheon to network with NASPAA members. Following 2015 NASPAA Annual Conference, KDI School will seek for the trends of NASPAA to promote NASPAA accreditation of MDP and MPM program of KDI School.
