Korea offers a wide range of public transportation options for domestic and international passengers alike. Sejong City is no exception. The brand-new administrative capital of Korea offers a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system capable of taking passengers to any location across the city within 20 minutes. In addition to its excellent bus network, Sejong offers another environmentally-friendly and convenient mode of public transportation – ‘Ouling’. Today, we introduce you to ‘Ouling’, the city’s public bicycle system.

Just because the semester is becoming tougher and more challenging, it does not mean you cannot enjoy the benefits of the beautiful Korean spring season in Sejong City especially if there are public bicycles available right outside your dormitory and a biking club in your school. If you are longing to explore Sejong City by bicycle, here are some suggestions and some instructions on how to borrow the public bikes in Sejong.

You may already know that you can rent public bicycles using your smartphone or your T-Money card system, but these methods may be difficult to grasp, especially if you do not speak Korean and the complicated registration process. Here, we present the easiest method to rent bicycles in Sejong City without registering as the other methods above require. For the method which we will introduce here, you only need a Korean post-paid cellphone number and your Alien Registration number.
