On July 15, KDI School welcomed Ambassador Yobani Velásquez Quintero from the Embassy of Colombia in the Republic of Korea for the "Colombian Coffee & Customs Talk," a cultural event organized by the Latin American and the Caribbean (LAC) Forum in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia and KDI School. Held in Lincoln Hall, the event introduced students, faculty, and staff to Colombia's rich cultural heritage while highlighting the country's globally recognized coffee industry and its growing partnership with the Republic of Korea.

Designed as an interactive cultural conversation, the session offered participants a unique opportunity to explore Colombia beyond common stereotypes. Through presentations, stories, and discussions, embassy representatives shared insights into Colombia's history, traditions, and everyday customs, emphasizing the diversity that defines both the country and the wider Latin American region.
