Please be informed that the 2005 Commencement will be held on Friday, Dec.9 at 14:00 pm. You and your guests are cordially invited to attend the last event of the year.


▷ Graduation Gown & Cap

1. Everyone who will be graduating this year, or who will have completed their coursework requirements by the date of Commencement, should wear their graduation gown & cap.
2. You can borrow a graduation gown & cap from the Administrative Affairs Office(1st fl. lobby, Staff Lounge), from Dec. 8 to Dec. 9. (Deposit: 20,000)

- Dec. 8 (Thursday): 13:00 pm ~ 18:00 pm
- Dec. 9 (Friday): 09:00 am ~ 13:00 pm

3. Even if you are not receiving a certificate of graduation or completion this year, you can borrow graduation gown & cap for pictures.

4. Those who borrow a graduation gown & cap should be seated in the KAIST Auditorium by 13:40 p.m.

5. After the ceremony, you must return the graduation gown & cap to the Administrative Affairs Office(1st fl. lobby, Staff Lounge) by Dec. 9, 5:00 p.m. in order to get your deposit back.


▷ Degree/Diplomas & Graduation Gift

1. Those expected to graduate and those who have completed their coursework requirements will receive a degree/diploma and graduation gift from the Office of Academic and Student Affairs(3rd. fl Rm. 9304) by Dec. 9, 5:00 p.m.

2. Gifts will be given to those in attendance with complete requirements. Only those who receive degrees or diplomas in the Commencement ceremony can receive graduation gifts.
