The Pakistani Alumni Association held its first-ever online lecture series on March 24, 2024, at 2 pm PST, focusing on "Evaluating Pakistan's External Public Debt, its Management, Policies, and Practices." The session aimed to comprehensively explore Pakistan's external public debt, covering its composition, trends, and implications for economic stability, along with proposing effective management strategies. 

Dr. Muhammad Arshad (2012 DP / 2006 MPP), renowned for his expertise in economic analysis, forecasting, social and public policy development, and public debt management, delivered the lecture. Dr. Arshad is also a distinguished member of the KDIS alumni network community; having achieved his Ph.D. and master's degree, both from KDI School. 

As the first webinar kicked off with a great start, attracting more than 20 alumni, the association plans to continue the series, fostering collaborative learning among the alumni network.
