KDIS Alumni Working Partner Program

The KDIS Alumni Working Partner Program is an annual initiative launched by the KDI School Alumni Office to foster connections among alumni, enabling them to collaborate on global projects. Through this program, KDIS alumni have the opportunity to propose new cooperation projects and join existing ones, aiming to accelerate positive global developments.

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to all KDI School alumni and organizations.

What Are the Objectives of the Program?

  • 1To connect alumni as working partners to accomplish globally mutual goals
  • 2To accelerate positive developments for all countries by achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) OR Timely Global Issues
  • 3To prepare KDIS alumni to become global leaders

How to apply?

To submit your project proposal, click on "View All Programs" below and select "Go To Propose A New Project." Upon submission, you'll receive an email notification. For smooth processing, we recommend using a Gmail account. You may propose or participate in multiple projects and join existing projects by clicking "Participate." However, please note that the maximum number of projects you can be engaged in simultaneously is three in total.

What Should Your Proposal Include?

  • 1Brief introduction of the proposal
  • 2Detailed description of the project's goals, objectives, motivation for cooperation, choice of partners, mutual benefits, potential for long-term cooperation (if applicable), and public impact (if applicable).
  • 3Timeline for proposed activities
  • 4Alumni/organizations you wish to cooperate with

How Will I Get a Partner?

Every project requires a partner to get started. If someone signs up to be a partner for your project, the team leader will receive a notification email. The team leader can then approve the signed-up partners to join the project. All partners must receive approval from the project leader. If there are no applicants for the project, it cannot be created.

What's the Timeline?

Proposals and participant submissions will be accepted until March 31st. If the number of participants exceeds 100, submissions may close earlier, so join as soon as possible! Matched teams can commence their projects thereafter. Interim report submission is due by July 31st, and the final report submission deadline is September 30th.

Is Financial Support Available?

Submit an Interim Report and related forms by July 31, 2024, to receive a reward of USD 125 for each team member. Similarly, submit a Final Report and related forms by September 30, 2024, for the same reward per team member. Please note that this support is contingent on timely submission of the report and forms.

What Are the Benefits for the Best Teams?

All submitted reports will undergo evaluation to select the top 2-3 best-performing teams, comprising a total of 6 participants. These teams will receive an exclusive invitation to the Alumni Workshop, scheduled to take place in Korea during November 2024. KDI School will provide airfare and accommodations for the selected teams!
