Please be informed of following event, Community Visiting Program. As the 2nd round of this program, we are going to visit Korea Institute of Science and Technology(KIST) on March 26th, 2003 (next Wednesday). This event is mandatory for international students. Without doubt, Korean student can attend after reservation by signing or emailing.
1. Objective
To provide an opportunity for KDI School’s international students to visit research institutions nearby to enhance their learning opportunities, create a research climate, and enhance knowledge on Korea and community.
2. KIST(Korea Institute of Science and Technology)
Since its inception in 1966 as the nation’s first multi-disciplinary research institute, KIST has been at the forefront of scientific and technological progress in Korea. By developing and propagating fundamental, yet creative technologies that point the way for future science and technology, KIST has successfully fulfilled its mission to reinforce industrial competitiveness and national competence in science and technology. Also we would like to invite some Korean students on a first-come-first-served basis. For those Korean students who want to take part in this program, please sign up the poster on the board or email me by next Monday (March 24th, 2003)!!
