[2023 Summer] Sejong City Tour Field Trip (July. 7th)

Dear KDI School Students,

We are delighted to inform you that our next field trip for the Summer semester of 2023 will be at three different locations in Sejong: the City Integration Information Center, the Traditional Culture Experience Temple and the Automatic Waste Collection Facility(CleanNet). The City Integration Information Center serves as a smart city control tower in Sejong. It offers a range of safe and convenient smart services, including security, transportation, and disaster management by featuring internally integrated facilities and combining the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. We will also have the opportunity to visit the Automatic Waste Collection Facility(CleanNet), an automated waste transportation system that utilizes an underground pipeline network to collect household and commercial waste. This visit will allow us to witness firsthand how recycling activities contribute to creating a clean city environment. Lastly, at the Traditional Culture Experience Temple, we will participate in a temple food-making experience. This hands-on activity will provide us with insights into the preparation of traditional temple cuisine.

We hope that this field trip will be both educational and enjoyable, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of smart city initiatives, waste management practices, and traditional culture in Sejong.

- Venue: (Sejong) City Integration Information Center, Traditional Culture Experience Temple, Automatic Waste Collection Facility(CleanNet)

- Participants: Up to 28 international students* 

* Up to 3-4 students for each country will be allowed to participate in the field trip to ensure an equal share of the limited seats for the field trip.

- Participation fee: free of charge

- Remarks

1) Those who have not completed PCR and RAT tests are NOT allowed to participate in this event

2) A penalty fee of 20,000 KRW will be charged for no-show on the day

3) RSVP on MIS: Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

* Cancellation must be made by July 3(Mon.)

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click on ‘[2023 Summer] Sejong City Tour Field Trip (July. 7th)’

6. 1) Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event
