Dear Students,

Please be informed that expected applicants for Leave of Absence, Extension of Leave of Absence, or Reinstatement for 2017 summer Term are required to submit an application form within the period indicated below.

Application Form for Leave of Absence, Extension of Leave of Absence, or Reinstatement should be submitted at the KDI School MIS(Management Information System).

□ Submission Period: March 30 ~ April 10

□ Procedure

1) Visit KDI School MIS site (http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/)

2) Login in

3) Click “MIS” on the KDI School Service Menu

4) Choose one below and Click it.

① “Leave of Absence”(휴학)

② “Extension of Leave of Absence”(휴학연장)

③ “Reinstatement”(복학)

5) Click “Insert” Button upper and right side.

6) Write the reason why you want to change academic status.

6) Click “Save” Button.

※ Notice
1. Maximum duration of Leave of Absence: 3 terms in total
2. Students returning from a leave of absence must complete reinstatement procedures before registering courses for the following term.
3. Students wishing to extend their leave of absence have to submit an Extension of Leave of Absence application.
4. Students who do not return to the School following their leave of absence, but have not applied for a leave of absence extension, shall be withdrawn from the School automatically, in accordance with School Regulations.
5. Students are not allowed to take a leave of absence in their first semester.
 
 ※ Notice for Korean male students:
Training for Reserve Forces cannot be deferred during the Leave of Absence. Please make sure to report the change of academic status to your military unit when you apply for the Leave of Absence. Please note that failure to report within 2 weeks of the change may subject you to a fine of up to KRW 2,000,000 or detention.
