With the world reimagining what the New Normal is, our alumni are also pushing the boundaries of what is achievable. Seven KDIS alumni chapters were formed this year and they share their messages of resilience and hope below.

"I am pleased to have established the Australian Alumni Association this year. KDI School has helped all of us, including me, work to our full potential while collaborating with our international colleagues on numerous subjects. Don’t forget to take care of yourself for now and in the future - you are unique. What matters most is how you perceive yourself. And be compassionate to yourself, your neighbour, your nation and the planet."

Luka Musicki (2014 MPP, Australia)

"Global cooperation fosters development, peace and social progress. This has been further evidenced by the global reaction to the coronavirus pandemic. The unprecedented times lived in 2020, somehow is shifting to optimism in 2021 thanks to a better understanding of the virus and, most especially, through global cooperation in information sharing and closing the vaccine gap. By sustaining a vast and diverse alumnus across the globe, the KDI School’s alumni platform is championing the promotion of global cooperation. Kudos!"

Mbeinta Lambert Chia (2017 MPP, Cameroon)

"Studying at KDIS is a great opportunity on the way to becoming world leaders. This is a global community of people who want to change the world and who are looking for better solutions. Also by empowering young leaders, schools nurture the future of the resilient world. Our community, as a member of a large family, supports the global goals of the KDI school."

Ayan Tazhibay (2020 MPP, Kazakhstan)

"Studying at KDI School is also a valuable opportunity to represent our respective countries within a multicultural environment. Except for the movie and few famous tourists spots, Madagascar is quite unkown on the international stage so it was a great occasion for us Madagascar Alumni to promote our country. That’s why we believe that at KDI School we are planting the seeds of further cooperation between our governments. A cooperation that is crucial to foster recovery from the COVID-19 crisis."

Ines Ratsirimpady (2013 MDP, Madagascar)

Nomenjanahary Mialy (2019 MDP, Madagascar)

"Year 2021 has been a challenge everywhere but KDI School alumni network in Russia continues to maintain a consultancy bridge between the eastern and the western cultures and markets that will weather all possible pandemics and hardships. Although the pandemic still poses many challenges, this year has been more of a ''business as usual'' year for Russia, thanks to the modern technologies and multiple choice of vaccines developed in the country. With passion, we invite you to explore new brilliant ideas that will help make the world a better place for living."

Sergey Konovalov (2003 MBA, Russia)

"Considering the unprecedented progress that the world has seen in the past century and half, active consultation, dialogue, collaboration, synergy, and partnership has been the fundamental pillars of this development. The policies of governments, whether domestic or foreign, have always been instrumental in guaranteeing the rights of citizens, delivering public goods and services, and determining the external relations of the state. Therefore, KDI School Alumni-Sierra Leone Chapter seeks to actively participate in the policy discussion in Sierra Leone to promote the social, economic and political welfare of its citizens."

Ibrahim Fofanah (2020 MPP, Sierra Leone)

"The Zimbabwe KDIS Alumni Association is delighted to be part of a global network of policy makers. The past two years have been tough because of the global pandemic which ravaged many economies, and as policy makers we must take a leading role in the development of sound policies to enable quick recovery of our respective economies. The Zimbabwe KDIS Alumni Association is therefore critical and very important as we drive this initiative. The platform is giving us the opportunity to put theory into practice, tapping from our rich and diverse backgrounds."

Brighton Madanhire (2019 MDP, Zimbabwe)
