NIIED Recommendation Letter Submission - Hard copy Offline Submission: Even after submitting your recommendation letters online, you are required to submit two physical copies of NIIED Form 5 as well. Since your online recommendations have already been submitted, you only need to complete the basic information on Form 5 and secure the signatures of your two recommenders. After obtaining the signatures, ensure that the form is properly sealed. The final step involves sending these two signed and sealed recommendations to KDI School by post.

Yes, you need to upload notarized documents during the application stage. Your academic documents, such as your Degree Certificate and Transcript, must be either Apostilled by the designated government authority or Consular-confirmed by the Korean Embassy before applying to KDI School. There is no specific quota by nationality or major, and the competition rate varies for each admission process as it depends on the number of students we can accommodate. However, we may not admit as many students as our student capacity allows.

The English test will be automatically exempted if you received your Bachelor's (Master's) degree from universities in the UK, Ireland, US, Canada (Quebec excluded), Australia, or New Zealand. If you received your degree from any other country and have Medium of Instruction (MOI) information in the official transcript, indicating that the language of instruction is English, then you can be exempted from submitting the test report. However, no additional document other than the official transcript will be acceptable.

No, it is not necessary to contact a professor in advance as it will not affect your admission result or scholarship decision. However, if you are applying for the Ph.D. program and feel the need to discuss your research interests and study plans, you may proceed to contact professors after doing some research about the expertise of the faculty members. It's important to note that the admissions office cannot advise on which faculty member to contact, so you should make your own decision in this regard.

Unfortunately, no. In compliance with the Decree issued by Korean Ministry of Justice, expected graduates are NOT eligible to apply to KDI School except for the students from Korean or Japanese universities. All applicants must have fully graduated from the university and hold the official degree certificate when they are applying to KDI School.
