[Admissions & Application] When is the application deadline & how can I apply?

[Admissions & Application] Who attends the program?
Most of our students are mid-career professionals with 5-10 years of working experience in the government, business, non-profit, media and academic sectors. Plus, with a student body that is over 45% international, learning environment and alumni network are truly global.
[Admissions & Application] How many students do you accept annually?
The entering class each year is approximately 150 Korean students for the Master's Degree program and around 150 international students.
[Admissions & Application] When does the program start?
Our academic year commences with a Winter Semester (Preliminary Session) in January for incoming students. We are on a trimester system: The Spring Semester (12 weeks) begins in February, the Summer Semester (12 weeks) in May, and the Fall Semester (12 weeks) in September.
[Admissions & Application] When are the admission interviews?
Admission Interviews in English will be conducted in June.
[Admissions & Application] How is the interview conducted?
The interview is approximately 10 minutes long and the interview questions vary depending on the interviewee. The interview date, time, and type are arranged for those who pass the document review.
[Admissions & Application] How much is the application fee?
There is none.
[Admissions & Application] Do I have to have previous experience or academic training in business management or economics?
No. There is no requirement for previous training in a particular field, although we do recommend that you make an effort to acquire some familiarity with your planned field of study prior to entering the School.
[Admissions & Application] Do I have to submit an English Score Report?
Applicants must submit an English Score Report as stated in the application guideline. KDI School ONLY accepts the following English Language Test Reports: - TOEFL(IBT(home edition accepted only temporarily until COVID-19 pandemic subsides), CBT, PBT, ITP) - TOEIC, TOEIC-S - IELTS - TEPS, NEW TEPS, TEPS-S, I-TEPS - OPIc - PTE Academic - Cambridge English Exams * Certificate(s) must be ORIGINAL (certified certificates are unacceptable) The tests must have been taken within 2 years of the proposed date of admission (The test must have been taken as of September, 2019). Applicants can also submit an official document issued by their university proving that all the courses are fully instructed in English instead (Medium of Instruction; MOI) * The MoI must be original or certified * Applicants who graduated from universities in England, Ireland, United States of America, Canada(Quebec excluded), New Zealand and Australia are exempt from submitting MoI * Secondary school’s or other institute’s MoI are unaccpetable
[Admissions & Application] Do recommendations have to be submitted in English?
We prefer recommendations written in English, but recommendations in Korean are also acceptable.
