Seungjun Kim is an Assistant Professor at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management. His research explores the intersection of international political economy, foreign direct investment, government-business relations, industrial policy, and geo-economic statecraft. His work has appeared in leading journals, including Comparative Political Studies, Review of International Organizations, and New Political Economy. He received the Outstanding Paper Award at the 2022 International Accounting Section Midyear Meeting. Professor Kim holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
