The Teaching and Learning Division is pleased to announce that the ‘2018 STATA Summer Workshop’ will open soon. The workshop is designed especially for beginners, so this will be a great opportunity for those who want to explore STATA from the basics. Please find more information below:

- Title: 2018 STATA Summer Workshop for beginners

- Instructor: Dr. Yoona Chin (STATA Korea)

- Date: August 13^th, 14^th and 16^th (3 days)

- Venue: Computer lab (3F)

- Time: 13:00pm-18:00pm (5 hours/per session)

   ※ During the last hour, you will have time to practice with the assistance of the instructor and TAs.

- Credit: 1 credit (non-graduation credit)

    ※ You will earn 1 credit provided that you attend and participate the full 3 days.

- Grade: P/NP 

- Seat availability: 35 students (RSVP is required via MIS)

August 13th (Mon)	Introduction to STATA & Basic Statistics Analysis - STATA interface, Loading and saving data, Help function etc. - Descriptive statistics, Statistical inference	5 hours
August 14th (Tue)	Hypothesis Testing & Simple Linear Regression Analysis - T-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis - Understanding regression equation, modeling and interpreting the output	5 hours
August 16th. (Thu)	Simple & Multiple Regression Analysis - How to deal with categorical and continuous variables - A regression model with dummy and control variables	5 hours

1) Visit www.kdischool.ac.kr

2) Login MIS with your ID and Password

3) In the menu bar on the left, click 'Apply for Events' under the 'Training/Event'

4) Click 'Query' button

5) Click “2018 STATA Summer Workshop (for beginners)”

6) Click 'Save'

7) Application period: ~ August 9^th (Thu.) 18:00pm
