[Deadline extended] The 9^th Euro-Asia Summer School

 

The Application deadline for the 9th Euro-Asia Summer School is extended until 2^nd June, 2017 (Friday) 6:00 pm.
 

The Euro-Asia Summer School includes lectures of world-famous scholars as well as exciting field trips in Belgium and Korea. The School hopes that future leaders would not miss this key opportunity to meet and interact to facilitate inter-cultural dialogues on global governance.

▣ Program Date
▶ 21 August - 25 August 2017: KDI School of Public Policy and Management, Sejong, Korea

                                            Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea
▶ 28 August - 1 September 2017: Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies, KU Leuven, Belgium

▣ Qualification

Completion of two terms at KDI School by the starting day of the program

*Students who complete their degrees or graduate within 2017 summer semester cannot apply for this opportunity

**A total of 5 students will be selected as the financial support recipients of 1 million won (per person)

 

▣ Cost
*The participation fee for the program is €400. It includes registration, tuition, accommodation, half-board, a part of meals and domestic travel
**Other Costs: In addition to the participation costs, airfare, insurance costs and other expenses must be paid by participants

▣ Required Documents

1) Application Form (attached)

2) Resume
3) Statement of Purpose: within 2 pages (A4) in English
4) A copy of transcript
5) English proficiency certificate (mandatory)

 

*Native English Speakers and students who took their degree program in English are exempted. In this case, you may alternatively submit certificates of medium of instruction.
**The application package should be submitted directly to the External Relations & Development Division (Room S213) in hard copy during the office hours

▣ Notes
*Any accident, diseases, and other issues that might arise during his/her stay in Europe during this summer program would be due to the participant’s own responsibility, of which expenses must be paid by him/herself. He or she must buy the Overseas Travel Accident Insurance on his or her own expenses.
** The number of credits will be decided after the final program is confirmed
