Dear KDI School Students,
 
The 2018 Global Government Officials Seminar registration deadline has been extended to July 20th. This is a unique opportunity for international students to expand their professional networks and meet newly appointed Korean government officials. The Ministry of Personnel Management and KDI School are jointly hosting this program, the only one of its kind in Korea.

The Global Government Officials Seminar aims to enhance your understanding of Korean and international policies. This four-day Seminar is part of a five-month government training program for newly appointed officials which is being organized by the National Human Resources Development Institute of the Ministry of Personnel Management.

 

I. Objectives

• Improve understanding of Korean and international situation and international issues through the in-depth lectures of KDI School of Public Policy and Management
• Promote network building between international students and newly appointed Korean government officials and create a chance to enhance understanding of Korean and international policies by learning with and from practitioners.

II. Overview

• Date: Aug. 13 (Wed) ~ 17 (Fri), 2018 (4 days, Aug. 15 not included)
• Participants: Total 160 participants   (90 newly appointed Korean Government Officials and 70 KDI School International Students)
• Program Content: Policy Seminar, Discussion, Team Building, and Networking 
• Venue: KDI School of Public Policy & Management
• Host: KDI School of Public Policy & Management, National Human Resources Development Institute (NHI)
• Registration Period: ~ July 20th (Friday) It is first come first served. We will close the registration once we achieve the required number of participants.
