[Field Trip] 2021 Summer Field Trip-4

 

Dear International Students,

We are delighted to inform you of the 2021 Summer Field Trip-4 on July 23, 2021. There will be two itineraries you can choose from: (1) K-water and (2) Buyeo. Option no. 1 for the field trip to K-water will be a full day program designed and offered by K-water. Option no. 2 for the field trip to Buyeo includes Baekje Cultural Land and Gungnamji Pond. For details, please refer to the below schedule:

Please note that we are limiting the number of participants in adherence to the social distancing. The application will therefore be first come, first served. Please keep in mind that to offer opportunities to more students, concurrent application will be rejected, and randomly assigned.

① Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water)

14:00 – 14:30	Understanding of IWRM
14:30 – 15:00	Site visit to Drought Education & Experience Zone
15:00 - 15:30	Travel to Daecheong Dam
15:30 – 17:00	Understanding of Dam Operation & Management
17:00 – 18:00	Travel back to KDIS

*Halal food will be provided.

② Buyeo

- Date and time: July 23, 2021 / 12:50 ~ 18:00

- Venue: Baekje Cultural Land and Gungnamji Pond

- Participants: Maximum of 20 international students

- Participation Fee: Free of Charge

※ Application period: July 12, 12:00am – July 13, 11:59pm (on MIS system).

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click [Field Trip] 2021 Summer Field Trip 4-1 to K-water for the Option no. 1 to K-water and [Field Trip] 2021 Summer Field Trip 4-2 to Buyeo for the Option no. 2 to Buyeo.

6. Please write a comment if you have any dietary restrictions

7. Click the ‘Save’ button

8. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event

 

<Important Notice>

1. Cancellation must be made by June 18, 2021.

2. KRW 20,000 will be charged as a no-show penalty for those who fail to attend the event without prior cancellation.

3. Please review your schedule before signing up for this event; not applicable for excused absence.

4. Please note that any incidents caused by not following the instructions from K-water or KDI School will be the student’s responsibility.

5. Participant should wear masks throughout the whole event, and we will take a temperature of every participant during the field trip due to COVID-19 prevention.

6. If you have fever or respiratory symptoms on the event date, you may not be allowed to participate.
