Exchange of Knowledge and Culture Education Summary of your project This project aims to bridge the digital divide in Malawi by establishing ICT hubs and implementing digital literacy programs in underserved communities. Through collaboration between Malawi and South Korea, the initiative will digital skills, provide computers, internet access, and e-learning platforms to schools and communities. South Korea will contribute technology, teacher training, and digital resources, while Malawi will facilitate local implementation and community engagement. The project will enhance digital literacy, improve access to online education, and equip youth with skills for the digital economy. By empowering teachers and students, it will foster innovation, create economic opportunities, and promote inclusive development. The ICT hubs will serve as centers for learning and innovation, ensuring sustainable impact. This initiative aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), while strengthening bilateral ties between Malawi and South Korea. Ultimately, the project will empower Malawi’s youth, reduce inequality, and drive long-term socio-economic growth. -

Digital Transformation and ICT Education - Details of Cooperation Project Objective of the Project The primary objective of this project is to bridge the digital divide in Malawi by establishing ICT hubs and implementing digital literacy programs. This initiative aims to provide underserved communities, particularly youth, with access to computers, internet connectivity, and e-learning platforms. By equipping individuals with essential digital skills, the project seeks to enhance educational opportunities, foster innovation, and prepare the youth for participation in the global digital economy. Additionally, it aims to empower teachers with the necessary training to integrate technology into their teaching methods, ensuring sustainable and scalable impact.
