Course Registration for 2005 Summer Term

Dear All,

Please refer to the following information on Course Registration for 2005 Summer Term.

1. Course Registration

○ Course Registration Period: April 25(Mon. 10:00 am) ~ April 30(Sat. 9:00 pm) The Course Registration for the 2005 Summer Term will be held from April 25 (Mon.) to April 30(Sat.). Registration will be done through the "KDI School Members" service at KDI School’s website (http://www.kdischool.ac.kr).

 ** "First Come, First Serve" principle will be applied to course registration.

** However, the Evening MBA students will be given first priority to register for the Evening MBA courses during the first day of the course registration period. Other students, MPP, daytime MBA, and MFDI students, can only register for these courses starting from the second day of the course registration period. (April 26, 10:00am).

 ** If you do not complete your Spring term course evaluations, you will not be able to register for the courses.

 * Please be informed that there is a limitation on the number of students in each class in order to maximize the quality of learning.

2. Guide to Summer Intensive Courses Summer Intensive Courses consist of a couple of sessions. First Session covers the first half of the summer term (May 23~July 1). Second Session covers the second half of the summer term (July 4~ Aug. 13) Classes open twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) for 3 and 1/2 hours each.

○ Offering Period - First Session: First Half of the Summer Term: May 23~July 1 - Second Session: Second Half of the Summer Term: July 4~Aug. 13 * Classes meet twice a week for 3 and 1/2 hours each.

○ First Session: First Half of the Summer Intensive Courses - Urban and Real Estate Economics / Prof. KIM, Sunwoong - Empirical Methods in Finance / Prof. LEE, bong Soo

○ Second Half of the Summer Intensive Courses - Law and Economics / Prof. CHOI, Albert - Understanding Strategic Behaviors / CHO, Inkoo

○ Korean Language and Culture II - Two sections will be offered in the Summer Term. - Section 1 will be offered as an advanced level. - Section 2 will be offered as an intermediate level.

Withdrawal Period: June 20 (Mon.) ~ July 2(Sat.) - First Half of the Summer Intensive Courses: June 6(Mon.) ~ June 18(Sat.) - Second Half of the Summer Intensive Courses: July 18 (Mon.) ~ July 30(Sat.) ? Jul. 25(Mon) - Jul. 30(Sat) Course Evaluation ? Jul. 25(Mon) - Jul. 30(Sat) Fall Term Course Registration ? Aug. 8(Mon) - Aug.13(Sat) Final Exam ? Aug. 13(Sat) End of Classes

 

4. Supervised Research Course Students who are planning to take Supervised Research Course(s) in the Summer term are requested to submit an application form, with the course supervisor and program chair"s signature, as well as a specific proposal for supervised research to the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. - Application Period 1) First Round: April 25(Mon.) ~ April 30(Sat.) 2) Second Round: May 23(Mon.) ~May 28(Sat.) 5. Additional Work for Ph. D. Level Courses You can take a course for Mater"s program as the Ph. D. level, if a professor is willing to offer his/her course at the Ph. D. level. You are required to submit an application form with a signature from the course professor. When you successfully complete the Ph. D. level course, it will be recognized as a Ph. D. course. The form is available in the Academic Affairs Office. Yon can also download the application form from the KDI School. You can also get this form at the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. - Application Period 1) First Round: April 25(Mon.) ~ April 30(Sat.) 2) Second Round: May 23(Mon.) ~May 28(Sat. )
