2024 KDIS Talent Show Application Now Opens (~June 20)

Hello, This is the Student Affairs Division.

We are pleased to announce that the 2024 KDIS Talent Show will take place on Friday, July 19th, at 5:00 PM in the central building's main conference hall on the 6th floor.

[Schedule]

  • 17:00-17:50: Registration, Photo Zone, and Catering

  • 17:50-19:20: Performances by Talent Show Participants

  • 19:20-19:50: Guest Performance and Award Ceremony

We encourage those who wish to showcase their hidden talents to register by June 20th (Thursday) using the following link.

[Guideline]

Dear KDI School Members, We are thrilled to announce the 2024 KDIS Talent Show on July 19th at 5 pm, which will be held as a grand offline event. Since 2013, the Song and Dance Festival has been a representative and highly anticipated occasion at KDI School, annually celebrating and embracing the diversity within our community. To showcase a broader range of talents beyond singing and dancing, this year s 12th Song and Dance Festival will again be rebranded as the KDIS Talent Show, following the 2023 format. Just like this event s slogan, Dive into Talent: Discover the Depths of Your Potential!, we sincerely invite all of you to set aside your academic and work commitments to join us in this event and witness the boundless talents of our KDIS members. Immerse yourself in an underwater adventure and be captivated by the remarkable display of talents, as if exploring the mysteries of the deep blue sea. Currently, KDI School calls for applications from students, faculty, and staff who wish to perform, volunteer, or serve as MC for the show. If you want to showcase your talents, please submit your applications by June 20th (Thu). 18 PERFORMERS Performers may consist of a group or an individual, and we are aiming to have around 15 teams participate. Performers can showcase their talents through any form of entertainment. This opportunity is open to all KDI School members, including students, faculty, and staff. In the event of receiving more than 15 applications, a video audition will be required. Once we receive more than 15 team applications during the application period, we will provide further instructions regarding the video audition, including submission methods and deadlines. Exciting prizes await the winners: W500,000 for the 1st place, W300,000 for the 2nd place, and W150,000 for the 3rd place. Additionally, W100,000 will be granted to each participating team, except for the winners. Showcase your talents, compete for prizes, and create unforgettable memories with your friends and colleagues! MC(HOST) Volunteer staff will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the event. Responsibilities include assisting with event setup, managing backstage activities, coordinating with performers, and helping to maintain a smooth flow throughout the show. We eagerly anticipate your enthusiastic cooperation. (Volunteers cannot participate as performers.) MCs should have energy, brightness, charisma, a creative vision, and strong leadership skills. Additionally, they should be able to engage the audience, maintain a lively atmosphere, and manage the event flow seamlessly. Interviews may be conducted to select the most qualified MCs. Dont miss the opportunity to be the host of the KDIS Talent Show! VOLUNTEER Student Volunteer Your active participation and support are crucial in making the 2024 KD1S Talent Show a fun and exciting event. Since we have limited capacity for an offline audience, specific details will be announced in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned for future updates!
