[2024 Fall] K-Water Field Trip with Geumsan Ginseng Festival (October 11th)

Dear KDI School Students,

We are pleased to announce that our upcoming field trip for the 2024 Fall semester will feature a tour of K-water in Geumsan, along with a visit to the Geumsan World Insam (Ginseng) Festival.

Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water), established in 1967, is responsible for the development and management of the nation’s water resources. On this trip, we will visit the K-water Center and Yongdam Dam in Geumsan. In addition to exploring K-water’s facilities, this field trip, combined with the Geumsan World Insam (Ginseng) Festival, will offer you the chance to experience Korea’s traditional ginseng culture. 

This trip will provide a valuable opportunity to learn about more than half a century of Korea’s water management expertise and its contribution to the country’s economic growth, while also experiencing Korea's rich ginseng heritage.

- Date & Time: October 11(Fri.), 09:50 – 16:30

- Venue: K-water center, Yongdam Dam and Geumsan World Insam (Ginseng) Festival

- Participants: Up to 28 international students* 

** Up to 3-4 students for each country will be allowed to participate in the field trip to ensure an equal share of the limited seats for the field trip,which means that the registration status is subject to change.We hope for your kind understanding on this matter :)

- Participation fee: free of charge

- Remarks

1) A penalty fee of 20,000 KRW will be charged for no-show on the day

2) RSVP on MIS: Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

- Application Date: September 25(Wed.) - October 1(Tue.) on MIS

* Cancellation must be made by October 1(Tue.)

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click on ‘[2024 Fall] K-Water Field Trip with Geumsan Ginseng Festival (Oct. 11th)’

6. 1) Please write a comment if you have any dietary restrictions

2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event
