Student Club

학생 클럽은 스포츠, 문화, 종교 등 학생들이 학생들의 자발적인 참여로 구성되는 네트워킹 활동입니다. 관심있는 주제의 클럽을 등록하고 직접 운영함으로써 학생들간 친목을 도모할 수 있습니다. 등록된 클럽은 학교로부터 재정지원을 받게되며, 등록기간은 매학기 2주차에 진행됩니다.

  • KDIS Hiking Club

    We believe that hiking has the power to transform lives, to know landscapes, and to meet cultures. However, finding the perfect path, or the most amazing views can be hard, especially when it is your first time doing it. We seek to build a community to learn together not only about hiking, but also about Korea and all the countries where our community is from, through outdoor activities that strengthen our connection with nature and with other cultures.

  • KDIS Badminton Club

    The objective of our club is to promote badminton as one of popular sports among KDIS community. It also aims to enhance basic skills in badminton among KDIS students by learning from each other and improve the fitness of KDIS students and their physical health. Besides, it can become another opportunity to release the study-related stress of KDIS students and improve their mental health. Finally, it intends to promote interaction of students of KDIS who study in the different programs.

  • KDIS Ultimate Frisbee Club

    The main purpose and objective of this club is to build a community for KDIS students who want to enjoy and play the sport called Ultimate Frisbee. This sport is a non-contact, self-refereed team sport played with a flying disc called frisbee. It is quite popular all around world played in more than hundred countries. We aim to reach as many as possible people and enjoy in a friendly environment. We welcome everyone regardless of their sport background and athleticism levels. We play the mixed version (female and male together) of this sport. Thus, we believe it will provide more opportunity for KDIS women students to be part of a friendly community.

  • KDIS Tigers Volleyball Club

    Volleyball is a great way to stay involved in social activities, as it can be played within teams. Taking into consideration this, I would like to create a community in which students from different backgrounds and from different countries can get united and surrounded by people that have the interest of the same sport.

    The KDIS soccer club is a club that incorporates perhaps the largest members from both sexes. Hence, it is my aim to lift it to a new level in which every member gets maximum satisfaction and fun. This club have been in existence on Campus for a long time and already are famous for constantly updating its Social Media Platform, Facebook and Instagram respectively. The Soccer club is aiming at bringing different people who play soccer as a profession, hobby, fitness, health habits or just for fun together.

    Establish a community of KDI student table tennis players from different nationalities and backgrounds. To make sure KDI School is represented at National and International Table Tennis tournaments. Improve on fitness and general health of the students at KDI. To train students in the rules and techniques of Table Tennis and the highest standards of good sportsmanship. To introduce healthy competition between students through organizing tournaments.

    In South Asia, cricket holds immense cultural and social significance, reigning as the undisputed favorite among the masses. It is more than just a sport; cricket is a shared passion that unites people across borders and languages, captivating millions with its exhilarating matches and deep-rooted traditions. Recognizing the profound impact of cricket in the region, the proposed South Asian Sports Club aims to introduce and promote this beloved sport among KDI students. Through friendly matches and informative sessions, we hope to offer a fun and engaging platform for those unfamiliar with cricket to experience and appreciate its unique charm, fostering camaraderie and teamwork along the way.

  • KDIS Dance & Stretching Club

    The purpose of the Stretching and Dance club is to give students a space where they can relax their bodies and minds from academic pressure and muscle tension while having fun. There will be 2 types of activities: first – stretching class, where the participants will learn stretching techniques to release muscle pain or relax from studies. The concept will be similar to yoga class with calming music. The second activity - is dance classes, where the participants willlearn a new choreography from a variety of styles (K-pop, hip-hop, etc.) in each class and lettheir body find the rhythm of the music. My purpose is to offer the possibility to have fun with new dances and moves while also giving them a chance to learn ways how to release stress, release muscle pain, or increase their flexibility and body elasticity.

  • KDIS Music Club

    The Music Club at KDIS is aiming to bring more students together, promoting music prodigies (Vocalist & Instrumentalist) and sharing culturally diversified music. This club is envisaged to be a learning ground for individuals who are interested in learning how to sing and play a variety of music and instruments. The Music Club has been active on the KDIS campus since March 2022 and has been waiting for this opportunity to be officially recognized by the school as one of the student clubs open to everyone. At the moment the KDIS Music Club hosts over 20 students on campus and many more interested parties just arriving.

  • KDIS Culture & Tourism Club

    Purpose
    Culture and Tourism Club seeks to complement the academic training of international students by providing a deep immersion into the culture, history and traditions of Korea. Through cultural activities, visits to historical sites and interactive events, participants will be able to develop a broader understanding of the country's social and economic context, which enriches their academic and professional perspective.


    Objectives
    1. To enhance the experience of international students by promoting cultural exchange and providing opportunities to explore Korean culture, history, and tourism. Through organized meetings and excursions, we seek to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of Korea's rich heritage and contemporary cultural landscape.
    2. By exploring Korean culture in a practical and experiential way, participants can strengthen their global identity and improve their ability to interact in multicultural contexts.
    3. Create a space for integration and community among international students, facilitating their adaptation to the Korean environment and promoting bonds of friendship through shared experiences.

  • KDIS K-Food Club

    Provide KDIS students with a unique experience and joyful memories through K-FOOD, including Korean cuisine (such as bibimbap, tteokbokki, and traditional desserts), fresh agricultural products (fruits, vegetables, etc.), seafood products (seaweed, sun-dried salt, etc.), forest products (wild vegetables, mushrooms, wild ginseng, etc.), and processed foods (kimchi, ramen, snacks, etc.). Compare and discuss each country’s agri-food and food security policies with those of Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
