Over the past 70 years, Korea has achieved remarkable economic and social advancement, transforming crises into opportunities and emerging as a leading example of successful national development (World Development Report, 2024). Korea’s development policies and institutional practices have served as a valuable model for many developing countries, inspiring efforts to adapt and implement systems tailored to their unique needs.

In this context, KDI School has conducted the 2024 Korea Development Policy Case Study Project, focusing on Korea’s latest policy areas such as “Vocational Education and Training” and “Industrial Innovation and Regulation.” This seminar, also serving as the project’s final report presentation, aims to foster in-depth discussions on policy implications and provide a platform for knowledge exchange.
