will be held on July 5 (Friday) and 6 (Saturday), 2024, at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in Sejong City.
The symposium aims to bring together researchers, scholars, and experts from various disciplines to discuss and explore the multifaceted phenomenon of inequality in Korean society
(gender, social stratification, education, marriage, demographic changes, health, labor markets, immigration, and social policies).

We welcome theoretical and empirical studies that identify the realities and mechanisms of inequality,
as well as studies that reflect on the reality of inequality in Korea from an international comparative perspective and explore policy prescriptions.
We invite you to this meaningful event that seeks to diagnose and find solutions to the problem of inequality in Korea.

The symposium will be held in a hybrid format, with both online and offline participation options.
Transportation and accommodation will be provided for graduate students presenting at the symposium, and we encourage their active participation and interest.
