MDP(Master of Development Policy) 과정은 개발도상국의 발전 전략 수립과 이행을 지원하고, 한국과 개발도상국 간 협력 증진에 기여할 수 있는 국내외 개발정책 전문가를 양성하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 학생들은 전공필수 과목인 Introduction to Development Policy(IDP)와 Quantitative Methods(QM)를 이수하며 개발경제학의 기초 이론과 정책 분석 방법론을 체계적으로 학습하게 됩니다.

또한, 관심 분야와 진로에 따라 Sustainable Development(SD) 또는 International Development(ID)를 세부전공으로 선택하여 심화된 전문성을 기를 수 있으며, 다양한 선택과목을 통해 개발경제, 정치, 사회, 문화 등 개발정책과 관련된 분야에 대한 심층적이고 종합적인 이해를 도모할 수 있도록 교육과정이 구성되어 있습니다.

졸업 요건은 연구과제 제출을 포함한 총 39학점 이상 이수이며, KDI대학원은 연간 3학기제를 운영하고 있어 전일제 학생은 약 1.5년, 비전일제 학생은 약 2년의 과정을 통해 학위를 취득할 수 있도록 설계되어 있습니다. 각 과정은 NASPAA에서 제시하는 5대 공통 역량을 바탕으로, 과정별 교육목표와 연계된 SLOs를 반영하여 설계, 운영, 평가됩니다. 또한, 재학생·동문·수요기관의 교육 수요 및 교과과정 평가 의견을 수렴하여 수요자 중심의 커리큘럼 체계를 지속적으로 유지하고 있습니다. 아울러 박사과정 진학을 희망하는 학생을 위해 일부 박사과정 수업 수강 기회를 제공하고 있습니다.

지속가능개발 (Sustainable Development)

  • 지속 가능한 경제 발전에 필요한 정책이슈에 관한 기본이론과 실무능력을 배양하는 것이 목표
  • 빈곤, 노동, 인구, 교육, 의료, 인권, 사회 변화 등과 같은 인적 개발 이슈
    성장, 생산성, 기술, 거시경제, 프로젝트 평가, 환경, 에너지 등의 성장 이슈 등과 같은 지속가능한 경제개발 분야에서의 이론적 지식과 실무 기술을 제공하는 것이 주된 교육 내용
  • 국제기구, NGO, 국내외 정부 및 공공부문의 현재와 미래의 중견간부가 교육대상

    * Coursework 수료증과 수료증명서는 별개의 증서로, 수료증명서는 최소 이수 학기 등록을 완료하였으나 졸업을 하지 않은 학생들을 대상으로 발급

  • 학생별 최대 1회 초청

Commencement

  • 대상: 석박사 재학생 및 수료생 중 졸업요건을 충족한 학생
  • 일정: 12월 (매년 학사일정표 참고)
  • 졸업식에서 졸업장이 수여되며, 졸업장은 최대 1회 발급
